UnionDigital Bank Inc. (UD) presents UD Loans, a sophisticated digital lending program designed to empower eligible individuals. Successful applicants enjoy the convenience of receiving their approved loan amount seamlessly deposited into their enrolled UBP accounts.

Distinguishing UnionDigital Bank from UnionBank

Functioning as the “second-engine” bank, UnionDigital Bank complements UnionBank’s mission to extend financial services to underserved communities and unbanked Filipinos who lack access to traditional banking. While proudly inheriting UnionBank’s heritage, UnionDigital Bank sets itself apart by offering tailored products and services specifically designed for its target market. It’s noteworthy that UnionDigital Bank operates through its distinct app, separate from the UnionBank app.

Comparison between UD Loans and Quick Loans

Unlike Quick Loans, a product previously offered by UnionBank of the Philippines, UD Loans is exclusively provided by UnionDigital Bank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of UnionBank. This distinction reflects the bank’s commitment to evolving and meeting the unique needs of its diverse customer base.

Eligibility for UD Loans

Access to UD Loans is currently invitation-based, contingent on a customer’s eligibility. Eligible customers receive notifications via SMS and/or email, signaling them to anticipate details about their eligibility for the upcoming promotional loan period.

Application Process

Prospective borrowers can initiate their UD Loans application by following the link provided in the notification via SMS or email: https://loans.uniondigitalbank.io/. Clicking on the “I have an invite code” button redirects applicants to the dedicated application page. Here, correct login credentials, including the invite code, last 5 digits of the ATM account or 12-digit account number, email address, and mobile number, should be inputted.

Borrowing Terms

UD Loans offer flexibility with borrowing terms ranging from 1, 2, 3, 6, to 12-month durations, providing customers with options that align with their financial preferences and needs.

Loan Amounts and Processing Fees

Upon qualification, the loan amount is communicated through SMS, email, or displayed during the application process. UnionDigital Loans Processing Fees are structured as follows:

  • ₱ 1000 to ₱ 1,999 = ₱ 100 or 10% of the loan amount, whichever is higher
  • ₱ 2,000 to ₱ 4,999 = ₱ 300 or 10% of the loan amount, whichever is higher
  • ₱ 5,000 to ₱ 9,999 = ₱ 500 or 10% of the loan amount, whichever is higher
  • ₱ 10,000 to ₱ 19,999 = ₱ 2000 or 10% of the loan amount, whichever is higher
  • ₱ 20,000 and above = 10% of the loan amount, capped at ₱ 10,000

Loan Cancellation

Customers have a 48-hour window post-approval to cancel their loans. Should the decision to cancel be made after this period, customers can choose to settle the full amount to close the loan with UnionDigital Bank.
